Antique Hutschenreuther Demitasse Cup & Saucer, Dresden Style
This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in 1914. It was produced in their Dresden decorating studio. The saucer has a diameter of. 4 5/8 inches and the cup is 1 7/8 inches high. The set has a light aqua panel that is decorated with raised gold flowers. There are two reserves on each piece containing gilded urns of colorful roses.
Some beaded gilding and gold accents as well as fancy gold trim on the rims complete the design. The interior of the cup and the handle are coated with gold. You might find similar designs done by some Dresden companies as well as Rosenthal. FOR OUR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE US.
