Antique RS Prussia Demitasse Cup & Saucer, Jewel Mold
This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Tillowitz, Germany by Reinhold Schlegelmilch about 1900. It has the Prussia stamp in red. The blank is known as Jewel mold.
The saucer is 4 ½ inches in diameter and the cup is 2 ¼ inches high. The cup has 8 little feet. There are simulated opals around the rim of the saucer, on the feet of the cup and on the handle. The set is decorated with shiny, iridescent paint around the border of the saucer and foot of the cup. The body of the cup and interior of the saucer have garlands of colorful flowers.
