This one hundred and eighteen year old cup and saucer set is in Excellent Condition with No Chips No Crazing. NOTE: There is a nonthreatening small spiderweb on the bottom of the cup (SEE picture with pen). Very nice heavy enamel painted Antique cup and saucer set. It was made in Burslem England by Doulton and the base of both pieces are marked "RA42" and have the brown Doulton Burslem England backstamp that was used from 1891 to 1902.The base of the saucer is also numbered "C4859". The cup is precisely scalloped throughout the exterior allowing it to sit nicely in the saucer center well. These are decorated with an intricate pattern of gold enamel daisy flowers you can feel with your finger. This set is in the type of condition that would please even the very truly picky collector.
