Extremely Rare M. Imp de Sevres Napoleon 1st Demitasse Cup & Saucer
Imp de Sevres Napoleon 1st Demitasse Cup & Saucer. O Limoges stamped, artist signed (MG), hinge covered porcelain Napoleon pharmacy pot. Imp de Sevres Demitasse Cup and Saucer. The cup features a hand painted portrait of Napoleon 1st enveloped by a gilded border and a green background; beautiful golden gilt covering the cups interior. Imp de Sevres mark, Napoleon 1st is beautifully scripted along the top. The saucer, displaying the royal N, Napoleon monogram at the center of its deep dish, the base includes the same M. Both pieces have a beautiful hunter green background and are trimmed in gold. The cup measures 2 high and 2 ¼ across; the saucer 4 3/8in diameter.
No other defects, chips or cracks exist on this beautiful demitasse set. Limoges stamped, artist signed (MG), Napoleon porcelain pharmacy pot a beautiful addition to the demitasse set, the pharmacy pot is an excellent match finished in the same hunter green color and displaying a large N cypher that indicates Emperor Napoleon 1st.
