Vintage Fiestaware Red Demitasse Pot with Six Cups & Saucers

  

For sale, this wonderful vintage Fiestaware demitasse coffee set. The pot, also referred to as a chocolate pot, is perhaps one of the most elegant pieces in the line.

Discontinued before 1944, it is quite a rare find. The matching demitasse cups and saucers were continued into the 50's and were rarely signed. There are issues with the coffee pot, as shown in the photos. There is a chip on the underside of the lid, as well as some roughness and color loss along the inside rim - which do not interfere with its displayability. The lid also shows some factory discoloration. There is a factory flaw on the lower body which looks like a small circular indent. There are also several tiny pinpricks of missing color on the body- extremely hard to notice. The demitasse cups and saucers are all in excellent vintage condition- no chips or cracks or other signs of wear. The green one has some factory issues with the evenness of the color saturation. All in all, this is a fabulous set and much sought after by all serious collectors.
