Vintage Royal Crown Derby IMARI 2451 Pattern Demitasse Cups (6) & Saucers (5)

  

This is a set of 6 beautiful DEMITASSE cups & 5 saucers in the Royal Crown Derby Traditional Imari pattern. The cups are just 2 high.

The bowl is 2-1/4 in diameter and is very gently scalloped octagonally around the edge. The pretty saucers are 4-1/8 in diameter, and also gracefully scalloped.

I don't believe these little cups were ever used--the gold trim is beautiful and unworn. I don't think the pictures adequately show the deep cobalt and vivid colors. I have an orphan demitasse saucer, not scalloped and a bit smaller older? If you don't mind that it doesn't quite match these other saucers, I will end that listing and include it with this one at no additional cost. They are a better description than my words and the major part of the description.
