He died in 1928, but his company became one of the largest porcelain makers in Germany, rivals to Rosenthal and Hutschenreuther. Production ceased during World War II. Heinrich was the first porcelain producer to resume production after the war, in West Germany as the country was then called.
After several changes in ownership, the company was bought by Villeroy & Boch in 1976. As you can see from the photos of the marks, several slightly different marks were used in the time period of these cups & saucers.All of the pieces have a stamped "38" on the bottom. They are all in very good condition with no visible cracks, chips, or scratches. The gold trim appears to be mostly intact.
