Antique Wedgwood Demitasse or Espresso Cup & Saucer, Unique Shape, Imari Style
CONDITION: Excellent, without defects of any kind. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Wedgwood after 1891. It has the old Portland vase mark as well as a registry number. The saucer is 4 3/8 inches in diameter. The cup is 1 1/2 inches tall with a diameter of 2 3/4 inches. The cup has a molded, blown out shape with a flat rim. The saucer echoes that design.
The borders are black with rust red, orange and gold designs. The pattern is a Imari variant.
It's unique shape and vibrant colors make it very collectable. The Post Office requires this.
