Late Meiji Period Satsuma Pink & Green Roses Matte Black Demitasse Cup & Saucer Nice Satsuma demitasse cup and saucer. Decorated in matte black with hand painted pink and green roses with gold leaves. Has crazing typical of Satsuma and some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 3 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 4 1/2 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
