4 Wedgwood Queensware DEMITASSE CUPS & SAUCERS Cream Embossed Shell Edge 1961

  

Offered from a local estate and a large. CREAM ON CREAM SHELL EDGE (Ruffled). 2 1/4 TALL FOOTED DEMITASSE or ESPRESSO CUPS & SAUCERS. These rare and lovely old pieces have highly embossed grape vines embossed on the ruffled rims. Marked Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston.

These are incised Wedgwood and dated in the 1960s. This set has no chips, cracks, crazing or staining. These are described as "design out" cups. The cups are 2 1/4" high and 2 1/2" across. The saucers are 5 across.
