Haviland Limgoes & Co. Demitasse Cup & Saucer, Exceptional Quality

  
CONDITION: Excellent, without defects of any kind. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in France by Haviland Limoges & Co. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and is 7/8 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/8 inches high with a diameter of 2 1/8 inches.

The can shaped porcelain is elaborately decorated. Intricate raised gilding is accented with tiny colorful blossoms. The rims and handle are gilded with heavy, embossed gold.

The bottom rims of both pieces are gilded. This is a product of the "Gilded Age", exquisite in every way. The Post Office requires this.
