On the tray, the base backstamp shows a crown over crossed lines with letters "R C" & the wrong pattern name ST. CLOUD" along with hand-painted numbers "2237" followed by "32 below it. The "22" indicates the year of production, 1922 & the "37" refers to the factory's internal tracking code.
The "32" is the artist's ID number. Lastly is a small, embossed 6. The cup has the standard. Crown over crossed lines with letters "R C" & the correct pattern name "SANSSOUCI" along with the same numbers "2237" followed by "32" below it.The only difference on the saucer is that the "2237" has been omitted, leaving only the 32. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT condition with ZERO signs of wear! These pieces lived treasured in a curio cabinet & then after the owner's passing, her daughter's storage unit. After that woman passed in 2008, they've been stored at the grandson's & were only recently unearthed this year. So so pretty & so obviously meant to bring joy - that's a hard thing to do living bubble wrapped in some guy's basement.
Please see photos for each piece's dimensions. Always happy to answer questions, thanks for looking! I'm in the process of listing a TON of vintage & antique decorative porcelain, bone china & crystal dinnerware, serveware & other tchotchkes. Please check back if you get a chance!
