Vintage Echt Weimar Kobalt Katharina 20003 Demitasse Cups And Saucers Set of 8

  

These pieces were produced by Weimar Porzellan out of Germany and are part of the Echt Weimar Kobalt line of china. The cups and saucers are decorated in the Katharina (#20003) pattern of gold leaves and vines against a deep cobalt blue background. A band of gold accents the rim of the saucers as well as the base, handle, and rim of the cups. Two of the saucers still retain the "Made In German Democratic Republic" paper label. The pieces are in excellent condition being free of any chips or cracks.

There is no loss to the paint or gold accent. Any white spots or washed out areas you may see in the photos are from the camera flash.

The only flaw I could find with the set is a very small spot inside one of the cups that appears to be an area where the glaze slipped. This can be seen in the twelfth photo.

The dimensions of the pieces are approximate and as follows. Diameter of saucer - 4 1/2. Height of cup - 2.
