Very rare shape and size in this very rare pattern. Very clean, excellent condition with no stains, chips, damage nor repairs. There are three marks from the firing pins - no damage; from the making of this piece. Please see our photos as they are part of our description. The artwork is completely intact - no wear nor misses. The bottom of the saucer has mark under glaze. The shape of the cup is charming with great design shape of the handle with beautifully colored and rendered mountain landscape; the saucer has an Inuit woman holding coffee pot and cup.
The pattern on the cup goes all the way around. Salamina is the only dinnerware pattern that Kent design for Vernon Kilns that was multicolored. The cup measures approx 2 1/2" in diameter and the saucer are 4 3/4".
