Carl Thieme HP Maria Theresa Monogram Floral & Gold Demitasse Cup & Saucer B Beautiful pedestal demitasse cup and saucer. The cup is decorated with a pink rose and blue forget me not MT monogram for Maria Theresa in the center. With small hand painted trellis design of pink, purple, blue, orange, and yellow flowers with raised gold gilt leaves. There are small gold gilt beads in between. With raised gold gilt leaves and beading along the rim of the cup and edge of the saucer. The outside of the cup has a ring of flowers in the same colors. Gold gilding to the handle. Marked on the bottom with a blue mark used by Carl Thieme in Dresden Germany starting in 1901. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 3 3/8 inches wide including the handle x 1 3/4 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 4 3/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
