Antique Coalport Demitasse Cup & Saucer, French Enamel
This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 3 1/4 and the cup is 1 5/8 high with a diameter of 2. The ground color is deep cobalt blue. In a light shade of blue, garlands and ribbons, applied in raised French enamel encircle each piece. The rims, handle, interior of the cup and well of the saucer are coated with gold.
