CONDITION: Slight crazing on saucer, barely visible. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. The saucer is 3 1/2 inches in diameter. The cup is 1 5/8 inches tall with a diameter of 2 inches.
The fine bone china set has a unusual shape. The cup is ruffled and the saucer is scalloped. Both pieces have pink panels overlaid with ornate, raised gilding. The white spaces in between are accented with raised gold decorations. The well of the saucer, interior of the cup and handle are all gilded.
