Antique Hirsch Dresden Demitasse Cup & Saucer, Garlands of Tiny Flowers
CONDITION: Excellent, without flaws of any kind. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Franziska Hirsch Dresden studio in the 1890s.
The saucer measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter. The cup is 2 1/4 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/8 inches. The porcelain is thin and translucent. The cup features a reticulated handle, a scalloped foot and a puffy, blown-out shape. The saucer has molded decoration in the porcelain and a frilly, scalloped rim. The set is hand painted with garlands of tiny, colorful flowers. The rims and handle are accented with lacy gilding. It is a frilly delight. FOR OUR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE US.
