These are classic collector's pieces, highly sought-after as "Ansichtstassen" (view cups). Each cup features incredibly detailed, hand-painted European topographical scenic views framed by heavy gold gilt accents and ornate scroll handles. The red roof building depicted on this side of the KPM Berlin cup is the Old Town Hall (Altes Rathaus) of Potsdam, Germany, located on the Alter Markt (Old Market Square). The other depicts the Charlottenhof Palace (Schloss Charlottenhof), located in the park of Sanssouci in Potsdam, Germany.

Markings: The underside of both cups displays the authentic underglaze blue KPM scepter mark. Additional Marks: Includes the circular eagle stamp containing the text KOENIGL. Production Date: This specific mark combination securely dates the production of this pair between 1847 and 1870. Material: Fine hard-paste porcelain, heavy gold gilt, multicolor enamel.
