Kaiser Porcelain Chocolate Pot Demitasse Cups Saucers Song Birds W Germany VTG. Porcelain Chocolate Pot Set with 6 Demitasse Cups and Saucers by Kaiser W. Germany Tirol, Song Birds, Gold Trim, Vintage Fine China. The decor features a variety of birds, including Orioles and a Gold Finch with botanical accents and gold gilding. The set includes: 1 chocolate pot and lid, marked "Ak KAISER" under the crown, W Germany, Tirol and signed (looks Like) Mu. The lid is topped with a flower bud handle. 7 saucers, marked Ak KAISER under the crown, " "W.
Germany" and signed "Tirol W in gold. 7 Cups, marked marked Ak KAISER under the crown, " and signed "W in gold on some, others i cant make out, some are unsigned. Chocolate Pot - 6.5 inches tall without lid, 8.5 inches tall with lid, 6 inches across top including handle and spout, 3 inches across top w/o spout and handle. Cups - 2.25 inches tall, 3.5 inches across top including handle, without handle - 2 3/4 inches.
Saucers - 4.5 inches in diameter. Kaiser Porcelain has been the home of real fine porcelain since 1872, when the company was founded by August Alboth (originally a porcelain embellisher), in Coburg, Bavaria, Kainy. Its delicate products in fine dining, gift giving and artistic figurines are renown around the world for their perfection in detail and in quality. The translucency of their cups comes from the porcelain being being high-fired.Condition - No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs that I can find.
