Please note: These are not from Ginori's Impero line, but Contessa. Each piece is marked Richard Ginori Manifattura Di Doccia Florence Italy. The condition of this pair is excellent: There are absolutely no chips and no cracks. They have retained all of their original gloss and shine.
The white porcelain of both the cups and saucers is pristine. The gold rims on all of the pieces show some slight rubbing in spots (see last photo for the most egregious example), and a blemish on one of the saucers (see 2nd to last photo).
There is slight scratching on this set that reflects some use, but nothing that is harsh or obvious. The underside of one of the cups has some very faint fading of the Richard Ginori backstamp (see 3rd to last photo). None of these imperfections, however, detract from their true beauty. Rich in tone and color (especially their brilliant emerald green), this set of two Ginori cups and saucers is understated elegance at its best.
