Other cup styles in this pattern include footed with rounded handle, and flat/mug with straight sides. This very pretty pattern comes in many colors, and they look stunning when mixed on the table. The florals used in the Brocade patterns match the florals used in the less fancy Minton Marlow pattern, so the Brocade patterns were popularly put to use as fancy dessert service pieces for Marlow. Vintage : this pattern was in production from 1948 to 1970; these saucers have marks indicating a production year of 1961.
Cup: 2.25" ht x 2.50" diameter. Condition : Our photographs reveal the condition best -- please enlarge and zoom in on them, and examine them carefully. Very fresh and clean pieces in minty condition with no signs of use or abuse. This set appears to have been used for display only. To distinguish between something that we know has been used even though it shows no signs of use. And something that we know is brand new and unused. No chips, cracks, scratches, silver/gray utensil marks, stains, crazing, or gold loss. We didn't even find any completely clear scratches. We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report. Corndogcache is a 100% non-smoking environment, and we'll let you know if any of our vintage items smell like it (or anything else) from activities they may have been involved in before they came to us.
