The border is a cobalt band with gold highlights. Replacements lists the pattern name as "SAD67". The set includes 8 cup and saucer sets. Each saucer measures about 5 5/8 in diameter.
The cups are 2 1/2" tall and 2 1/2" in diameter (not counting handle). The underside of each piece is marked with the stock number "7636". Sadek introduced this pattern in 1948 and it has since been discontinued (not sure when). The set was made in Japan.
Condition of this Sadek Federal Eagle demitasse set is generally EXCELLENT. One cup has a shallow chip on the underside of the base (see photo). I don't see any other chips, cracks or fleabites. The decoration is very nice with only very slight loss. Overall, this elegant set looks fantastic and displays beautifully. It would make a fine addition to any Federal Eagle collection. Please take a close look at the many photos I've provided and judge condition for yourself. Demitasse sets in this pattern are hard to find, especially a set of 8.
