Antique Dresden Demitasse Cup & Saucer, Jeweled

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Berlin Porcelain Factory, Teltow around 1911. The cup and saucer are marked with a kind of water mark that will not photograph well. The camera picked up a barely visible part of the castle mark with two towers.

The saucer is 4 1/4 inches in diameter. The cup is 1 1/2 inches tall with a diameter of 2 3/4 inches. The ground color shades from cobalt blue to light blue. It is elaborately hand gilded with beaded gold accents.

There are large gold hearts with raised turquoise enamel beads or jewels. The well of the saucer has a gilded medallion. The inside of the cup and handle are coated in gold.
