This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in France by Haviland Limoges & Company between 1888 and 1896. The saucer has a diameter of 5 inches and the cup is 2 ¾ inches high. The rim of the saucer is ruffled. The handle is a draw string that loops around the rim of the cup and pulls it together like a little sack. The elaborate, lacy gilding surrounds the cup and well of the saucer.
The rims and handle are gilded. This is a very unusual Haviland cup and saucer. FOR OUR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE US. The Post Office requires this. The item "Antique Haviland & Co.
