Belleek Demitasse Cup & Saucer Antique American CAC Hand Painted
This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in the United States by the Ceramic Art Belleek Company. The saucer has a diameter of 4 ¾ inches and the cup is 1 7/8 inches high. The porcelain is so delicate it is like egg shells. It is molded with ripples reminiscent of a sea shell.
There is a pink tint that blends into the creamy white porcelain. Delicate flowers and branches painted in raised gold spread across each piece. The rims and handle are accented with gold. It is in excellent original condition.
At the factory, 2 minor firing cracks were covered with gilding as if it were part of the design. There are no man made defects.
