Foley Wileman Shelley Trio, Three Vintage Demitasse Coffee Cups & Saucers C. 1908

  

This lovely Demitasse part set was made the the Foley Company sometime early in the 20th Century. And was part of my Grand and Great Grandmothers afternoon coffee services. It is in Foley's Antique Dainty Shape and has pretty fluted cups and matching saucers. The cups rim and saucers edge are gilded and appear intact and bright despite being used. The sets pattern number is 9666, this number was entered into the pattern book in.

And remained there until 1919. They have been used but are in very good condition and after close examination. Can find no chips cracks or hairline fractures. There is also tea staining to the internal glaze of the cup. And this is reflected in the price.
