Elegant Decorative Set of 7 DEMITASSE CUPS& SAUCERS Fine China, Striking WIDE BANDS of ENCRUSTED GOLD on White, Solid GOLD Painted Handle, GOLD TRIM on Foot of Cup, Produced by C. DESCRIPTION: This superb quality china has colors that are bright & contrasting. This is hand decorated on a blank of fine white china which has the wide encrusted gold band next to the rim. The cup's handles have solid gold paint and the feet have a narrow gold trim line. One saucer is slightly older than the others having a deeper shape and an older mark. The other 6 saucers have a gold trim line around the well. This 7th one does not have the gold trim line around the well. CONDITION: While this set of 7 cups and saucers is classified as used, the condition is superb. There is only one issue we need to address. One cup has a tight hairline which causes that cup not to ping as the others do.

This hairline is hard to see and does not leak liquid. We find no nicks, chips, scratches, cracks, other hairlines, or repairs. There appears to be absolutely no wear to the colors and no crazing.

Look in the photos to see this. The lack of utensil scratches on the set attests to the high quality of the porcelain china. This decorative set is beautiful. DIMENSIONS: The cups have a diameter of 2 5/16" with a height of 2 1/8". The saucers have a diameter of 4 5/8" and a height of 9/16".

He founded his own Hutschenreuther Porcelain Company in Selb in 1856 which became highly successful and 113 years later absorbed his father's company. All of the Hutschenreuther Companies were trend setters of high quality porcelain.

Hutschenreuther became known for the love of detail, distinctive brilliance of color, and lustrous beauty shown through the decorating of the fine porcelain pieces. The mark on this set is that of the Hutschenreuther Company of Selb, Bavaria Germany. The deeper, older saucer has a white mark for Kaiserin Maria Theresia, Carlsbad China, K.

This saucer also has the deep green leaf which probably covers the Hutschenreuther stamp. All saucers have mark KB China Coin Gold.
