Original White Star Line Wisteria Pattern Demitasse Cup & Saucer 8/1905 1/1905
The photos are of the actual cup and saucer that you will receive. This pattern was used in First Class dining on the Titanic, and other ocean liners in the White Star Line fleet, in the early 1900s. This fine porcelain demitasse cup and saucer set is over 100 years old! There are no chips, cracks, repair or unusual wear to the decoration. There is some no-harm grayish underglaze factory discoloration along the bottom rims as pictured, and there is a tiny spot on the cup where the decoration did not completely adhere to the body of the cup when manufactured (side view).
The saucer measures 4 1/4" in diameter and is marked "RN 117214 RN 324028 1/1905. The cup is 2 1/4" tall and is marked marked "RN 117214 RN 324028 8/1905.
