Russian Imperial Porcelain 1744 St. Petersburg Demitasse with Saucer- Set of Two
These black on white patterned demitasse bone china cups have two different wraparound designs. One shows a man and woman (perhaps having tea) seated at a table with candelabra and a man standing behind the woman. Both designs are in silhouette format, and the figures are wearing Victorian era clothing. On the bottom of the cups and saucers is the double-headed eagle coat of arms of Russia along with Imperial Porcelain 1744 St. The cups and saucers have gold rims, and the cups are tapered upwards. Saucers measure 4 in diameter. Cups measure 2 ¼" in diameter at the mouth and 1 ½" at the base. Please see photos for details.
