Straus Limoges Pink & Peach Rose & Raised Beaded Gold Demitasse Cup & Saucer Nice antique porcelain demitasse cup and saucer. Decorated with pink and peach roses with raised gold leaves.

With clouded gold gilding along the edge and bottom of the cup. Gold beading above the base of the cup and around the center of the saucer. Gold gilding to the handle.

Marked on the reverse in red L. Limoges France with a circle.

This is an overglaze mark used by Lazarus Straus & Sons between 1890 and the 1920s. It is also marked in green Limoges France with a crescent moon. This is considered an unidentified Limoges mark used after 1891. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition.

The cup measures approximately 2 1/2 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/4 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 4 1/2 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
