Vintage 1950's Grosvenor Floral Bone China Demitasse Cups and Saucer Set of 10

  

Pristine set of bone china demitasse cups and saucers by Grosvenor, made in England in the 1950s. The Grosvenor China "Wilton" design is characterized by a floral motif, often featuring pink roses and blue or purple flowers (typically hand-colored) with gold trim and blue sections with scrollwork along the edge. Demitasse cups are smaller than standard teacups, designed for after-dinner coffee or espresso.

This 20-piece set includes 10 demitasse handled cups and 10 matching saucers in excellent vintage condition. They have no chips or cracks and exhibit very little to no signs of age and wear.

Approximate measurements: Each demitasse cup: 2.25" tall, 3.50" across including handle, and 2.75" diameter; Saucer: almost 5" diameter.
