Vintage Demitasse Tea Cup Set of 6 Courting Scene Angel Filigree Metal Holder
Very good condition, variations and wear on the color of the saucers. This vintage set of six demitasse tea cups feature pierced brass holders and saucers decorated with angels and accented by figural animal handles. The set includes 2 each in blue, yellow and pink. The porcelain inserts are decorated with courting scenes framed in gold. The cups interior has a floral decoration. Vintage Demitasse Tea Cup Set of 6 Courting Scene Angel Filigree Metal Holder. This vintage set of six demitasse tea cups feature pierced brass cup holders and coordinating saucers.
The cup holders are decorated with seated angels and scrolls. The saucers have pierced borders that depict birds, fruit and flowers. Each porcelain insert is decorated with 5 courting scenes framed in gold.
The lower portions have gold flowers and scrolls on a pastel background. The cups also have a gold floral interior.
The set includes 2 blue, 2 yellow and 2 pink cups with saucers. The brass holders and saucers have a colored patina. There is wear and variations in color on the brass holders. The color is permanent and can not be polished off. Otherwise the set is in very good condition.
The inserts are free of chips, cracks, repairs and crazing. Each cup measures 2 1/2" high to 2" wide and holds 2 ounces. The set is marked with three feather crossed arrows and number S7772. View My Other Items For Sale.
