Vintage Rosenthal Demitasse/Espresso Cup & Saucer, Richly Gilded
This porcelain demitasse was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in the 1940s. The saucer is 4 3/4 inches in diameter. The cup is 2 1/4 inches tall with a diameter of 2 3/8 inches.
The set has a bright apple green ground color. The decorations are done with transfers. It has elaborate gold decorations with reserves of colorful flowers on both pieces. The interior of the cup and the handle are entirely gilded.
The colors and design blend so well together in an elegant manner. The Post Office requires this.
