Antique Royal Doulton Demitasse Cup & Saucer, Made for Tiffany Exotic Birds
This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Doulton around 1900. It was produced especially for Tiffany in New York. The saucer is 4 5/8 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The set is hand painted and artist signed by E.
There are Chelsea type exotic birds in brilliant colors. They were made popular by Sevres in France. Elaborate gilding overlays the cobalt blue borders.
