Antique Vienna Demitasse Cup Saucer, Scenic
This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Bohemia by Carl Knoll in the 1880s or. There is an under glaze bee hive marking on both pieces.
The saucer size 3 ¾ inches, cup is 2 inches high and diameter is 1 ¾ inches. The saucer has an indented well so that the cup keeps from sliding off. The ground color is deep cobalt blue. The hand painted scene of the front of the cup s of a little girl & boy. It is finely painted and brightly colored.Sides of the cup are decorated with raised and beaded gilding, which match the decoration on the saucer. The interior of the cup is gilded down to the bottom. FOR OUR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE US. The Post Office requires this.
