Limoges Jean Pouyat Cobalt & Gold Encrusted Square Footed Demitasse Cup & Saucer. Nice porcelain demitasse cup and saucer.

Decorated in cobalt blue and gold encrusted designs. Marked on the bottom JPL.

This mark was used by Jean Pouyat in Limoges France between 1862 and the early 1900s. Has some wear to the gilding, and one small gilded over flake to the back edge of the saucer, but otherwise good condition with no additional chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 3 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/2 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 4 1/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
