Sevres Style Raised Gold Roses Laurel Leaf & Cobalt Demitasse Cup & Saucer Beautiful porcelain demitasse cup and saucer. Decorated in cobalt blue with raised gold gilt roses framed in a circle of gold beading and laurel leaves on the front of the cup. With laurel leaves around the top and gold beads over the outside of the cup. The saucer is white in the center with gold beads and has a cobalt border with raised gold roses, with gold laurel leaves along the edge.

Has a blue pseudo Sevres mark on the bottom. Probably made in by either Achille Bloch or Porcelaine de Paris after Robert Bloch took over for his father Achille and renamed the factory. The cup form matches cups in the Porcelaine de Paris catalog and the style of gilding is similar to some of their work. Early to mid 20th century. Has some minor wear to the gilding and one bead is missing on the saucer, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 2 5/8 inches wide including the handle x 1 7/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 3 7/8 inches wide.
