Unmarked Mintons 6 piece Demitasse Tea Set Eggshell Porcelain Gold Encrusted

  
This listing is for the 8 piece tea set that you see in the photos. The heavy gold designs look to me like they might be Mintons. The gold looks a little darker on the cream and sugar but the porcelain is pretty much the same slightly blue off white color that I see on the cups and saucers. The bluish tint is slightly more blue on the cream and sugar.

None of the pieces are marked. The saucers and the sugar and creamer are also translucent but not so much as the cups. There are three saucers that measure close to 4 ½ inches diameter and weigh close to 2.4 ounces each.

There are 3 cups that measures close to 3 inches across their rims and weigh close to 1.4 ounces each. The creamer weighs close to 4.6 ounces. With the lid, the sugar weighs close to 8 ounces. The condition is much like you see it in the photos. A close-up shows a very tiny chip along the rim of one of the cups. The gold on the sugar and the creamer might have darkened some from exposure to air. There is a little wear to the designs in the middle of the saucers.

There are no other chips. There are a few very minor scratches. Otherwise, these pieces are generally fine and as shown. I guarantee this tea set to be as described and represented by the 18 photos after the general description.
