19th C. Lewis Straus Limoges Demitasse Cup & Saucer, Hand Painted, Sevres Style

  
CONDITION: Excellent, without defects of any kind. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in France by Lewis Straus & Sons Limoges in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches.

The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 2 inches. The cup has a puffy, blown out shape with rococo style handle and scalloped foot. Panels of soft pink roses alternates with panels of apricot color, accented with raised gold decoration. The rims and handle are hand gilded.

All of the details combine to make a delightful little demitasse. FOR OUR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE US.
