A Royal Worcester china hand painted cup and saucer of demi-tasse size. They are painted with game birds. The cup is painted with a Ptarmigan and the saucer is painted with a Blackcock.

Both are indistinctly signed, the signature marks are shown in close up for you. Both pieces are printed with the Worcester mark to the underside and have the same date cipher for the year 1955. Both pieces in good order. Cup has a minuscule gilt chip to rim and short scratch just below this. Some surface wear to the center well of saucer from the cup standing on it.

Overall gilt in good order with minor losses to handle, rim etc. Height 5 cms (2 inches) cup. Width 9.8 cm (3.8 inches) saucer. Weight 100 grams (before packing). If for any reason you are unhappy with your item please let us know as soon as possible, and we will do our best to put things right.
