This striking Art Deco pattern features colorful floral basket motifs, geometric black and rust borders, ornate scrollwork, and gilt accents. The V23 pattern was introduced in 1928 and these examples date to the 1930s based on the Royal Doulton backstamps and date marks. These are true demitasse cups, intended for espresso or after-dinner coffee service.

Beautiful vintage condition with no major chips or cracks noted. Light age-related wear and minor gold trim wear consistent with nearly 90 years of age.
