This is a lovely and delicate set of lovely Limoges demi-tasse cups and saucers was produced by the Wm. Guerin factory in France specially for Burley & Company of Chicago (founded 1884; closed 1915). For that reason, it is in like-new condition. Each piece is decorated in Victorian era style with hand-painted peonies around the perimeter rim of the saucer and the top 1/3 of each cup (painted on both the inside and outside as seen in Photo #2). Each is decorated with gold accent around the edges and the handles.
The saucers are 4 1/4 inches in diameter and the cups are 2 inches high and 2 1/8 inches diameter at the top. The base of the cups is 1 1/8 inch diameter.
