Victorian Coalport Porcelain Jeweled Scalopped Demitasse Cup & Saucer

  

Please keep in mind when purchasing. I can't help that. I try to make it as cheap as possible with box size but I have had a couple of recent items damaged. So I will use bigger boxes and double box when possible. From a huge 1920's mansion and a prominent family near Pasadena CA.

They had lots of old antique porcelain including cups (some of which I have listed) and many looked like they had not been used. The woman who lived there was the first female mayor of San Marino and a big philanthropist.

An absolutely stunning Coalport porcelain jeweled cabinet demitasse cup and saucer. It has a beautiful design as you can see with a gilt gold surface highlighted a turquoise enamel beading pattern that is magnificent. Condition is excellent antique for something made circa 1891.

No chips or cracks or repairs, some minor gilt wear. Possible light crazing to the base of the saucer, as many do.

The cup is about 1 3/4" tall and 2.0" wide at the mouth (not including to handle). The saucer is 3 3/8 wide. About 3 oz before packing.

Items I sell are not new. They have been used so do not expect mint condition unless otherwise noted. Measurements are approximate and may not be totally exact.
