Superb, Matching Set of x6, Vintage, Susie Cooper, Black Fruit, Demitasse or Espresso, Cups & Saucers. Susie Cooper was one of the United Kingdom's most prolific and successful ceramic designers. Her career spanned over seven decades and encompassed some of the iconic periods of the Twentieth Century.

Made in fine bone china. The cups are in the classic, Susie Cooper'Can' shape or profile. Made as a member of the wedgwood group.

England made, in a variety of Susie Cooper's'Black Fruit' designs, and differing internally coloured glazes. Very hard/unusual to find 6 x cups with x 6 matching design saucers, in x 6 different fruit types. Icon-ically'mid century modern' in style, being designed originally in 1958, yet totally'contemporary' to this day. True classics of designer ware and highly collectible. A beautiful set for everyday use, addition to your collection, or for fine home décor display.
