Antique Lamm Dresden Demitasse Cup & Saucer, Meissen Style (A)
This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Ambrosius Lamm Dresden studio in the 1880s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/8 inches and the cup is 1 7/8 inches high. The ground color is deep cobalt blue. There are reserves on the front of the cup and well of the saucer containing Watteau scenes. The hand painting is very detailed and the coloring is vibrant.
The gilding is all hand painted, raised, and beaded. There is lacy trim on the inside rim of the cup. This is not just a cup and saucer, it is a work of art.FOR OUR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE US.
