Antique Royal Doulton Demitasse Set for 6

  
This porcelain demitasse set was produced in England by Royal Doulton around 1900. The set consists of a pot with lid, an open sugar bowl, cream pitcher and 6 cups and saucers.

The saucers are 3 ¾ inches in diameter and the cups are 2 inches high. The pot is 7 ¼ inches high and 5 inches from the spout to the handle.

The set is made of fine bone china. All of the pieces have scenes with colorful hand painted exotic birds. The scenes are framed with fancy hand gilding. There are gilded accents and all pieces are trimmed on the rims and handles with gold.

Please note that the blue ground color tended to come out darker than the actual pieces. It is slightly lighter than the pictures show. CONDITION: The bottom of the sugar bowl and one saucer have fine crazing in the glaze. There are no other defects. FOR OUR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE US. The Post Office requires this.
