Imp de Sevres Hand Painted Signed Demi Tasse Cup and Saucer. We are pleased to offer this a Beautiful Antique Porcelain Cup and Saucer. Depicting a hand painted portrait of the step-daughter of Napoleon by his first wife.
Hortense de Beauharnais, later Hortense Bonaparte, played a large role in the reigning French family of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. She married his brother Louis and became the mother of Napoleon III, the last emperor of the French. The set is signed by G.
Cup: 2 5/8 inches tall, 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Saucer: 5 1/8 inches in diameter. Would make a beautiful display piece and will make a great addition to your collection. Please see picture for a better description of the item.
