Antique Set Of 2 Mauser Cups And Saucers Silver Overlay

  

Antique Mauser silver overlay demitasse cups and saucers. They're monogramed and have lovely floral patterning on the sides. In photos with the same set, a lot of people kept theirs black. It will polish up but the area around the handles stayed dark. These are really pretty pieces.

I'm certain they're Mauser because of the stamp on the plates. I found two different types that match these.

One of them has a ceramic bottom on the cups and is stamped with Mauser and the others have the silver overlay on the bottom. This one obviously has the silver on the bottom. I also cannot find a sterling stamp on them, but I'm reasonably certain that these are sterling overlay and not plating. The pieces are in good condition overall. There is a little bit of scuffing on the bottom rim of one plate and a very light line on the interior of one of the cups. Close-ups provided at the end before the measurement photos.
