Very rare Spode butterfly handled demitasse cup & saucer circa 1815 decorated in the Chinese manner with panels of flowers against yellow washed ground with green rim. Each piece is marked to the base "Spode 2154". Cup measures 5.8cm x 3.2cm(2.3" x 1.25") and the saucer 9.1cm(3.5) in diameter. Chip to rim of saucer as can be seen at the 3 o'clock position in the photos, otherwise good condition.
